JOB DESCRIPTION
The accountant will be assigned for the entire duration of this Employment Contract and/or until any amendments from time to time, with the following duties: –
- Adept at reviewing accounting records and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance with company policies and applicable reporting standards.
- Maintaining all accounting transactions and providing accurate information on financial position ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Handling and submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual books closing to the senior management.
- Assure accurate revenue recognition to maintain consistency of the company’s financial reporting.
- Ensure reconciliation of all sub-ledgers & general ledgers is performed on a regular basis.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and resolve any differences in a timely manner.
- Maintain and monitor financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
- Liaising with audits in accordance with instructions and objectives.
- Analyzing data and presenting detailed accounts and financial records in an understating and direct manner along with preparing associated reports to discuss with management.
- Assist with general ledger functions, booking, billing, posting journals and daily entries.
- Statement preparation for Tax filing as per UAE, FTA regulations.
- Working on digital systems to keep records and create payments (Bank transfers and Cheques)
- Assure that tenants refund documents are complete to prepare and track the payments.
- Effective communication with tenants/clients and dealing with insolvency situations.
- Handling sensitive information in confidential matter.
- Any other duties that might be deemed necessary for the execution of the Employee’s Employment Contract.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Strong numerical ability and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interactions.
- Independent and collaborative work capabilities.
- Ethical conduct with sensitive financial information.
Adaptable to changing processes and technology.
